不要輕視

簡單不起眼的事，

複雜困難的事

是許多簡單的總和。

Don't look down on

easy and simple tasks,

for the complicated

and difficult tasks

are in fact many simple tasks

combined together.

小事不做，大事難成

做難中之難的事，

才是人上人。

We cannot accomplish great things

if we refuse to do

the small things that seem mundance.

The great are those

who are willing to take on

the toughest tasks of all.

我們要克服困難，

不要被困難克服。

We need to overcome difficulties,

not be overcome by them.

信心、毅力、勇氣

均具足，天下無難事。

With faith,determination,

and courage,

nothing is impossible.

人有兩耳兩眼、

一張嘴兩隻手，

人要多聽多看，

少說話多做事。

we have two ears,two eyes,

two hands,but only one mouth,

because we should observe more,

listen more,do more

and  speak less.

謊話像盛開的鮮花

外表美麗，生命短暫

Lies are like

flowers in full bloom;

they look beautiful

but do not last long.

脾氣不好嘴巴壞，

心地再好也不算好人。

If we have a bad temper

and a sharp tongue

we cannot be  considered

a good person

even if we have a good heart.

話多不如話少，

話少不如話好。

It is better to speak less,

and best to speak kindly.

常常毀謗他人，

等於破壞自己。

When you

say bad things about others

you are actually

making yourself look bad.

對人要寬心，

講話要細心。

Be forgiving towards others;

be discreet in yours speech.

說好話如口吐蓮花，

說壞話如口吐毒蛇。

Kind words

are like pure flowers.

Mean words

are like poisonous snakes.

省下零用錢，

可救貧窮人。

Save up money on snacks

and you can help the poor.

做好事不能少我一個人，

做壞事不能多我一個人。

Count me in when doing good deeds.

Count me out when doing bad deeds.

口說好話，

心想好意，

手做好事，

腳走好路。

Speak kind words,

think good thoughts,

do good deeds,

and walk the right path.

做事要用心，

不操心、

不煩心。

When we are doing something,

let's be mindful about it

instead of worrying

or being vexed about it.

認真學習要用到：

赤子的真誠、

駱駝的耐力、

獅子的勇猛。

To learn,we need to have

a child's artlessness,

a camel's endurance,and

a lion's courage

and resoluteness.

健全雙手不做事的人，

等於沒有手的人。

To have two good hands

but refuse to work

is no different than

having no hands at all.

心不專、念不一，

做事難以成就。

If we have no fouse,

and our mind

cannot concentrate,

no success out of what we do.

多做多得、少做多失，

懶惰的最貧窮。

the more we do,

the more we again,

the less we do,

the more we lose out,

So the lazy have the very least.

自己吃飯才會飽，

自己做的工夫才牢靠。

Your hunger won't go away

unless you yourself eat.

Likewise'only if you

do something yourself

can you become good at it.
